HKSA Q&A Competition 2008

{ February 27th, 2008 }

Hey HKSA Members, Visitors, And Officers,

Sorry for the late post but I have been busy from school and midterms, so hope it isn’t too late. During last Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, HSKA had one of our new events for this semester. This event was HKSA First-ever Q&A Competition 2008. Sound interesting already, right? Not Yet because winners of this competition also got prizes. Grand Prize is Three 10 dollar Jamba Juice cards. Ummm…. Who does like that great tasting smoothies especially as summer is right around corner. Second and Third Prize winners also got our great HKSA designer T-shirt, Stylish and Representing!!! Before we started the fun competition, our member, competitors and officers enjoyed some zesty and cheesy pizza and refreshing soda. Everyone was smacking on their pizza and chatting and enjoying themselves before the competition started. Finally, after everyone was full off of the food, the most hear thorning Q&S competition began. The first round was the elimination round. Because we had some many people their all can’t be in the real competition, therefore, we had a elimination round where we can get three teams and 3 person in each. After 4 questions we got our 9 competitors. We had Wendy, A Friend from Boston and a new member in one team. Then we had Tiffany, Iyvette, Jason Hui in one and Hugo, another friend from Boston and Barry in One. The Competition went for hours. Each team were in something. We had a team great in Scholars, one team great with current events, and one great with IQ questions. There was only one word to describe the teams Magnificent!!! Our Mc’s Jun, Casey, Alvin, and Me couldn’t keep up with how fast the team were answering the questions!!! One of my favorite of the round would have to be The Show but No Tell Round. All the Competitors were coming up with as many things as they can to show what their object was. At the end our team of Hugo, Barry, and Boston Friend won The Grand Prize. Thats wasn’t all thought. Audience also had the chance to win a jamba juice card too. Who guessed the team that will win got the chance to compete for 2 5 dollars jamba juice cards. Pierre and Anson were our lucky winners!! all and all our first ever Q& S competition ended great!!! Thanks for Competitors and Audience for Coming and Great Work Officers and Interns!!!! And This week we have our K-nite. One of our most popular events that HKSA has. Hope It will be great!!!!
