Not only will there be extraordinary performances of the talented contestants, HKSA officers have also deliberately prepared you some entertaining skits that reflect aspects in society which people might ignore…

If you’d like to have an amazing evening that allows yourself to be inspired while enjoying great performances, please come to our 26th Semi-Annual Karaoke Contest!!

The K-Con will be hosted on Friday, April 2nd, in 10 Evans at 7 pm!

All tickets will be sold at the door,
and the admission fees are: $5 for members, $7 for non-members.

親愛的HKSA members & non-members,

話甘快呢個學期就過左5個禮拜啦!! 相信大家都因爲考midterm 同打文時時刻刻不得不坐係書台前面. 好想去休息下,散下心? 好想去舒展下筋骨同瀟灑地流下汗? 甘就要黎我地今個禮拜專程爲你準備嘅Sports Day 啦! 我地呢個星期六會帶大家去Berkeley west side 嘅 Strawberry Creek Park 盡情地做運動. 届時唔單止有足球,籃球,羽毛球同Frisbee, 仲會有你可能好耐無玩過嘅兒時游戲例如二人三足,跳大繩同丟手帕等等…仲有好多其他你捻到嘅游戲,我地都可以一齊回味嘎!
因爲我地中間有好多 籃球愛好者,所以我地决定舉行一個Basketball Tournament! 比賽會以3對3嘅形式進行, 參賽者可以自己組team sign up,亦可以先sign up 然後當日同其他參賽者組team! 贏嘅隊伍每人將獲得Jamba Juice Gift Card!

想參加Basketball tournament嘅朋友可以黎HKSA table sign up (每日Upper Sproul 11 am to 2 pm), 亦可以message 其中一位officer!

萬一星期六打波先黎落雨, 大家都唔使擔心! 我地有準備另外一個令大家舒展筋骨嘅方法! 絕對唔會令你失望.

Hope all of you had a wonderful weekend. I know many of you are now stressed about midterms. To relieve your stress, HKSA is hosting a Sports Day event in Strawberry Creek Park this Saturday! Activities include Basketball, Badminton, Soccer, Frisbee and other creative games we used to enjoy in childhood. Also, for those who love playing basketball, we are hosting a Basketball Tournament that day. Each team will have 3 players, and the winner will have our Jamba Juice Gift Cards!! So come sign up at our table ( Upper Sproul 11 am to 2 pm)

So, come enjoy our games and share some laughter!

大家好，首先係裡度同大家講聲恭喜發財，係新既一年入面，希望大家係cal入面都可以龍精虎猛，problem set, midterm樣樣掂之餘仲可以黎參加我地HKSA既event. 冇錯喇，今個禮拜五我地Club同其他Asian Club既朋友一齊為大家準備左一個新年晚會，新一年既第一個event當然唔會令大家失望喇，晚會有精彩既武術表演之外仲有好多其他中式表演，當晚，我 地HKSA仲為大家準備左好豐富既美食，有年糕，馳名既茶葉蛋，腐竹糖水，蘿蔔糕，仲有好多好多要你地親身黎試下先知喇，上個weekend覺得新年一D 氣氛都冇又或者覺得新年唔知自己做左d咩既朋友，今個禮拜五既 EAU Lunar New Year Festival就千其千其唔好錯過喇！相信呢個將會係大家最難忘既一個新年party。

Come out to Lower Sproul for EAU’s Lunar New Year Festival! We’ll have a variety of awesome performances including Cal Wushu, Fei tian, and many other amazing acts. Since this is a HUGE event hosted and put on by ALL of the East Asian -affiliated clubs at UC Berkeley, it will be HUGE.

Each participating club will be selling scrumptious food and drink items, so it will be like one huge night market, right on LOWER SPROUL!

經濟唔好搵工難? 作為一個大學生, 當然要為自己前途著想啦! 想打破困境? 想畢業後搵份返好工? 就等HKSA 為你既未來做好準備啦!

今 個semester, HKSA為大家請嚟多位於Berkeley畢業，已投身社會工作嘅Alumni同大家分享佢地讀書, 搵工, 同埋做野嘅經驗! 我地請嚟嘅講者分別來自唔同major, 包括Social Science, Business/Economics, Science, Computer Science/ Engineering 同埋唔同既公司, 分別有BlackRock, Microsoft 同埋UC Berkeley等等。到時佢地將會同大家分享入行同埋工作經驗; 我地亦會設有Group Meeting既時間去解答大家對各個Major或行業嘅問題同疑難。

Well, HKSA is here to provide you with that opportunity without raiding your wallet nor consuming days of your time aimlessly!

This semester, we have invited 4 alumni guest speakers, all of whom have landed jobs and immersed themselves into the work force, to share with you their experiences studying, job-hunting, and working.
They come from different areas of studies, including Social Science, Business/Economics, Science, and Computer Science/ Engineering, and are parts of companies such as BlackRock, Microsoft, and UC Berkeley.
In addition to hearing them talk, we’ll also be having group meetings in which your inquiries of majors and fields may be answered!
