This occasion is not only an election, but also an end-of-semester gathering for all of us to meet up and just mingle before we work our buttocks off for our finals. It is ultimately for your benefit! Please do bring your past papers! Scanning will only take a couple of seconds! You’ll be back mingling and and enjoying the event in no time!

Congratulations, you’re in Berkeley! University is another stage in life. In high school you plan for university. Now that you’re in university you should look into your major, and start planning your career or path after you graduate! Four years will zoom by very fast when you’re having fun!

2009 Spring HKSA Kcon Judge 心得
雖然在準備PE考試,不過還是忍不住當了HKSA的judge, 因為時間距離考試比較遠。放棄了TSA的Judge和表演，沒關係，下學期再來!
以規模來說，HKSA的確是小了點，不過卻多了娛樂性。短劇跟幾組表演者的演出，都能夠適時的帶來歡笑。或許受限於場地大小，舞臺上佈滿了桌椅以及工作人員，對於整體Kcon來說有點小小缺憾。穿插在各組表演間的歷史廣告，十足加乘效果，讓台下觀眾笑聲不斷。與台下觀眾互動遊戲也很精采，請來兩位外國學生聽mp3唱歌猜謎，竟然有一組每每才唱出一句不到就衝上前答題，最終贏得冠軍。看來他小時候一定沒有好好念書，都在看卡通!
此次比賽並沒有驚人之聲，大家偶有忘詞。有幾位音色很好，但卻因臨場表現不佳而導致分數不高，甚為可惜。在此強調一點，音色與與其他項目或許佔分相同，但是音色是天生的，若是兩者相比有差距，給分上面並不會差距很大，頂多差個三四分，但若是節拍不對 or 音準有很大瑕疵，給分差距可能就拉大到六分以上。因為節拍音準是可以後天彌補的，若是你沒有好的節拍音準，音色再好也很難拿高分。換句話說，若是音色不夠好並不會成為能否進決賽的關鍵。
再來說說選曲的問題。很多人選了難度較高的歌曲，平時或許都能完整演繹，一到了比賽，高音上不去，沒有爆發力，或是轉音不順 etc. 難度高或許能為你加點分，但是演唱的完整性卻讓你扣了分。簡單來說，光良的抒情曲有時候比信樂團的狂放搖滾更讓人為之鼓掌。不是要你放棄高難度，而是要你有更多的練習，懂得使用技巧來完美駕馭高難度歌曲。
臨場表現部分，大家都會緊張，就連我當評審表演時都會緊張，這可以理解。我們不是學生會代表候選人，沒辦法上台時都能展現落落大方。但是可以盡量避免以下幾點: 唱歌時手插口袋，雙眼直視地下與天花板(評審跟觀眾都不是蜘蛛人，不太可能黏在天花板上)，那要看哪裡? 就叫你看裁判阿!!我今天都刻意打開兩個釦子露胸毛了，你們還不看?? 還有很多人唱的時候在舞臺上東走走西走走，這也不太好，會影響到大家的視覺感受。若你沒有安排任何舞台動作時，站定點表現你的深情也很好(男生就不用對我表現深情了, 謝謝!)
接下來就是我對於各組參賽者的講評:
初賽
1. Terry 背叛
敢選這首歌比賽的確很有膽識。情感很好，可惜A段感覺未開嗓。”花”唱的有點模糊，”欣賞”搶拍。整首歌感覺都用喉音在撐，高音部份有上去但是聽起來很緊，缺乏爆發力。幾個國語發音不夠標準，有一句感”慨”多點氣音會更好，最後一句搶拍。舞臺上常常左右走，整體而言算是不錯。
2. Andrew 童話
今日最爆點!!外國人唱國語歌的腔調竟然比很多人都正點! 而且很多外國人唱國語歌發生位置改不過來，而他竟然完全承襲了華語歌手的唱歌方法。歌聲神似光良，我想這是他選曲的原因。”守護”pitch不準，中段solo時整段都低了一個key。尾音控制很好，關鍵長字句換氣點不對，造成有兩三句吸氣不夠而尾音無力早斷，末段高音pitch走掉。舞台上也是左右走(向左走, 向右走 看太多?), 尾句”的” 轉音上乘。
3. Ryan 美麗之最
了解歌詞意境，唱歌才能有fu。前段講述幸福美麗時，表情太過猙獰，應該適時的微笑(不是指外部，而是指內心)。第一次假音太虛，pitch掉，背景音樂太大聲，B段高音突爆，pitch掉(“等你” “一句”)。
4. Jackson/Lawrence 頭髮亂了
這首歌唱到我頭髮都亂了!!帶動現場觀眾氣氛，很high!!純粹肢體動作略顯單調，可加點帽子，圍巾，衣服皮帶之類的，可以設計更多動作。背景音樂太小，雙人合音部分很棒，左邊的搶答達人高假音和聲很準，兩個人的臉部表情多變，大大加分。可惜字多的部分因為要有舞蹈動作所以換氣不順，有點漏詞。
5. Charlie 告別的年代
沒想到競選學生會代表的人還會唱歌!!聲音很厚實，氣也很足，可惜最高音的pitch都沒到, “開”pitch掉，”擁抱” “聲” 突爆，整體來說高音部份比較穩。最後”慷慨”唱的很有味道，嘶吼高音很符合Rocker的調性，假音也很好聽。
6. Betty 你我他
聲線很好，台風很穩。”種種冰冷”走音，低音pitch不太穩(“散”)，真假音轉換不錯，若能更滑順點將更完美。有幾個字有口水音換氣不順。
7. Sylvia 回家
音色加分，可惜節奏扣分。慢拍->搶拍->慢拍，起初以為是要玩蕭敬騰”滑音”的遊戲，結果發覺是節奏掌握不當。中間有漏詞，Repeat A段又慢一拍出場。假音很穩定，音色厚實。最後段的轉音花腔沒有展現出來，唱完後應該跟觀眾謝謝再下台(可能緊張忘記了)。
8. Brandon 愛愛愛
紅鞋男孩豋場! 唱歌的feeling少了點，比較沒有R&B的味道。”愛”不存在的假音不太順，發音”紫”可再加強，”你’ Pitch掉，故我”在”尾音飄掉。整體算是平順，但是缺乏音樂律動感。
9. Isaac 斷點
節奏感跟pitch都需要再加強。有些字黏在一起，”想起”慢拍，常看電視螢幕可能歌詞沒背熟。感情不夠，有手勢輔助唱歌，仍因緊張手在抖。
10. Shirley/Tracey 狐狸精
很可愛的表演，雖然pitch有點不準，有點忘詞，但是都已經無所謂啦!!最後的男人婆還真是surprise!!
11. Julie 告解
音色不夠實，各句尾音太短，可以多練氣來改善。越來越”愛妳”有點破音。Ptich會飄，高音部份力道不足。
12. Ann 記得
音色很漂亮，”以後”可加點轉音，pitch很穩，手可多加點動作(前半段都同一個姿勢放在前面) “夢”最高點pitch不到，高潮段的花腔沒有展現出來。
13. Steven 離開以後
麥克風聲音太大，忘詞兩段，最高音pitch沒到，尾音可以長一點。”拋開”pitch掉，唱歌的fu不錯，情感投入。整首歌曲大小聲控制要多注意。
14. Zeroth 瀟灑走一回
開場很不錯，整首歌曲改成搖滾味道，還是很好聽。中間”阿~~”的部份有點突然，黑吉他太大聲，可增加其他及她跟貝斯的solo部分。中間vocal有搶拍，聲音很實很穩定，團體隊形有出來。
15. Alan 我恨妳
音色很好，節奏感加分。假音轉真音時 ”妳”不夠漂亮。有點漏詞，第二個”對不起”唱的不錯。整體很平穩，可是缺乏了Rocker類型歌曲的爆發力跟嘶吼音。下次選歌可以試試其他歌手的歌。
決賽
1. Terry 唯一 88
尾音很漂亮，忘詞。”真的”小破音，”其實”走音。副歌假音都能掌握很好，也很紮實。B段有改調似乎避開挑戰高音? 整首歌曲若能降1key來唱或許更適合。
2. Andrew 手機留言 86
低音pitch很穩! 音色真的好像光良阿~~可惜中段忘詞，導致後面表現開始不穩，還是有左右走舞台的習慣，”懵懂”pitch掉，”活”發音變成”後”，以一個外國人的表現來說還是不得不稱讚阿!
3. Jackson/Lawrence 他一個人 89
明明就是兩個人還選唱”一個人”? 合音部分真的很棒，僅有幾個音聽起來不太順(應該是臨場pitch不準) 但是音色很合，尤其兩個人都唱中音的合音難度甚高卻做的很到位。連續的”他”可選擇輕氣音而不一定要用實音表現。兩人默契十足，感情融入歌曲意境。
4. Silvia 勇敢一點 86
老毛病又犯! 節拍阿節拍，感情跟音色都很棒，可惜一旦節拍出錯，就影響了聽眾的感覺。副歌總是慢了一拍進場，B2又搶拍進場。高音爆發力不錯，選曲也算不錯，可以展現自己的實力。應該要多聽幾遍掌握節奏。
5. Zeroth 燕尾蝶 90
再次挑戰相同歌曲，唱的部份沒話說，假音這次就沒出錯，vocal跟band的搭配也好多了。白紅黑三色吉他貝斯的出場與走位都很精采，看的出來有下過工夫。中間安排一段”虛”在爆發出來，讓整個表演出現層次。”你是火”聽起來還是有點怪怪的(不夠順，會讓人覺得是唱走音之類的)，或許出現一次即可? 最後用主吉他手擋住vocal不知是否是刻意安排? 不然覺得應該要做個圓滿大結局，大家都聚在一起才對。
最後結果由於是三位評審分數平均，所以會與我的結果有所落差。還是恭喜前三名的得獎者，以及所有參賽者，謝謝你們精湛的演出，讓我們評審及觀眾都有個美好的music night!!
